​Piano and Math Summer Learning Lab 
(Virtual in 2020)

A recipient of a Bright Minds Foundation Grant, ​The Piano and Math Summer Learning Lab is a program designed to accommodate elementary and middle school students who have an interest in learning piano. Students will learn C position. By gaining the ability to recognize notes on the Grand Staff, students will be able to read and play a range of songs. For students with some prior music training, the program is a great opportunity to sharpen skills. The program utilizes music education as a catalyst for math skill building. The innovative model of our exciting intensive summer learning program lies in the integration of math skills into the study of music theory and composition, as well as a utilization of collaboration in piano study and performance. ​​
